One component, moisture-curing polyurethane-based FAS1 rubber flooring adhesive is designed for use in heavy duty commercial areas and areas that are exposed to more moisture than is typical. Zero-VOC content FAS1 rubber adhesive is low odor and solvent-free, designed specifically for interior installation of a variety of flooring- and when used according to directions, can also form a solid membrane below the flooring to protect it from subfloor moisture.

Description

FAS1 adhesive boasts immediate grab and quickly builds into an aggressive bond. With a high moisture tolerance and antimicrobial technology, easy to use FAS1 rubber floor glue is simple to apply and produces a very low odor with a 45-minute working time. Unlike most floor glue, quick-set FAS1 floor glue allows for light traffic after just 8 hours, supports heavy traffic in 24 hours, and tolerates heavy rolling loads in just 48 hours.

Approved Subfloors:

  • APA underlayment grade plywood and OSB
  • Cement backer board
  • Cementitious and anhydrite screeds
  • Concrete and radiant heated subfloors (not to exceed 85°F)
  • Gypsum and lightweight concrete (primed)
  • Terrazzo (properly prepared with all waxes and surface finishes removed)

 

Cleaning: When FAS1 floor adhesive is wet, use a damp cloth to remove excess glue from the product. If FAS1 urethane adhesive has dried, it can be removed with mineral spirits or a safe solvent. (Always check compatibility on a test piece of flooring first.)

Working Time: 45 minutes

Flash Time: 10 Minutes

Shelf-Life: 12 months

 

Storage: While FAS1 rubber flooring glue is freeze-thaw stable, it should be stored between 50-80°F and kept from freezing.
